Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had throat irritation for a long time now and I can feel a small swelling in my throat now, I just want to get some advice on how to overcome it.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Could you be more specific on the swelling that you have? Where do you have it exactly? It is in the front of your neck? Does it hurt you or is painful during chewing food or eating?

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I can able to eat, and drink without any specific pain in the swelling but my throat and neck inside always have some irritation and this swelling, only when I touch it, I can feel the pain. I have pain even in my lower jaw. I have this swelling in the front of my neck slightly left to Adam's apple.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

There is a condition called thyroiditis which is inflammation of the thyroid. It is usually a self-limiting condition but can have some of your clinical features, I would advise you to see a doctor close to where you live and get some medications for this. They can also examine you and see if you require any blood test an ultrasound.

Hope this helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
