Ways to reduce frequent erotic stimulation include:

  • Limit the intake of caffeinated beverages and foods after late afternoon. Consuming caffeine before bedtime can stimulate the brain and trigger erotic dreams.

  • Take a cold shower before bedtime. This may reduce excessive sensitivity in the genital area.

  • Manage and control your stress levels. Stress can trigger many bodily responses, so maintaining low stress helps promote peaceful sleep.

  • Avoid sleeping on your back or stomach, as these positions may increase genital stimulation. Try sleeping on your side instead.

  • Exercise regularly to keep your body and mind relaxed.

  • Excess tension, anxiety, and physical exhaustion can increase the chances of sleep orgasms.
