Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Last year, I was sitting on my boyfriend’s private part, and it was damp. He did not ejaculate, but he produced something milky. He was wearing underwear and shorts, but I was not wearing any underwear.
My periods are still regular. It has been six months now, and I am still getting my period regularly, sometimes a bit late, but I have not missed a month.
However, I am still scared that I might be pregnant. Is it possible?
Please advise.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I am deeply concerned about your worries.
According to your description, he was wearing underwear and shorts. There was no penetration, and there was no ejaculation. You have had regular monthly periods for six months. Therefore, you are not pregnant.
Here is the medical reasoning. Even if he produced pre-ejaculatory fluid (the “milky” fluid), sperm cannot travel through underwear and shorts, then through friction, and then into the vagina in enough quantity to cause pregnancy. Fabric acts as a barrier, and sperm are fragile outside the body and dry out quickly.
The most important fact is that you have had regular periods every month for six months. If you have been pregnant since last year, you would not be having normal periods. At six months pregnant, you would have no periods, noticeable abdominal enlargement, and clear pregnancy signs. Regular bleeding every month confirms you are not pregnant.
What you are experiencing now is anxiety, not pregnancy. Sometimes fear persists even when biology says otherwise, but medically, scientifically, and logically, pregnancy from that situation is not possible. Your regular periods confirm you are not pregnant.
You can take a home pregnancy test if you need final reassurance; it will be negative. Based on everything you told me, you are completely safe. I hope this was helpful.
Thank you.
