Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Is it possible to get pregnant from dry humping if he was wearing shorts and I was wearing jeans, but both of us ejaculated in our underwear? Also, does sweat play any role in this?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
I am very sorry about your medical condition, and I am glad that you are paying attention to changes in your body. But do not worry, I am here to take care of you.
Regarding your question, no, it is not possible to become pregnant if both of you were clothed. Here is why:
Clothing barrier: Sperm cannot travel through layers of fabric (especially thick ones like jeans and shorts) in any viable way. Both your underwear and outer clothing act as strong barriers.
Semen outside the vagina: For pregnancy to occur, sperm must be deposited inside the vagina or at its opening without any significant barrier. If ejaculation happens inside clothing, the sperm get trapped in the fabric and lose viability quickly.
Sweat factor: Sweat has no role in causing pregnancy. It does not carry sperm or make them more likely to pass through clothing.
So, even though both of you ejaculated in your underwear, the multiple layers of clothing make the chances of pregnancy effectively zero.
I hope this has helped you.
