Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been suffering from slight left-side cheek numbness and it is more irritating than painful. It is not consistent. I sometimes feel pain in my teeth on the same side, and it can also be an issue with the teeth. I have attached the photos of my cheek for proper evaluation. I do not smoke or drink alcohol. My known medical conditions are IBS and suspected vitamin b12 deficiency. I am concerned about what could be the problem. Kindly suggest.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

With the symptoms mentioned and by reviewing the images (attachments have been removed to protect the patient's identity), you can be suffering from oral thrush. I advise you to follow the below-mentioned instructions.

  1. Take the tablets of Acetaminophen 500mg and Metronidazole 400mg thrice daily.
  2. Take capsules of Co-Amoxiclav (Amoxicillin) 625mg twice daily.
  3. Take a tablet of Ketoconazole 200mg and a tablet of Acyclovir 800mg four times a day.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them, and take the medication with their consent.

I hope this information will help you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
