Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a woman who has been married for nearly two years. However, each time we have penetrative intercourse, I have never been able to reach orgasm. I was previously told by my gynecologist that it might be psychological in nature. Despite working on my psychological state, I have not experienced any improvement, and this situation has made me feel deeply saddened and has negatively impacted my mental well-being. Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understood your concern. Firstly, I would like to inform you that compared to males, females generally require more time to reach orgasm. It is also quite common for approximately 70 % of females to not experience orgasm during intercourse, as males often reach orgasm earlier, resulting in the sexual encounter ending before the female reaches orgasm. There is no abnormality or deficiency on your part. If you desire to achieve orgasm, one option is to explore self-stimulation through masturbation. Masturbation can serve as a means of stress relief as well. I hope this has helped you. Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.
Thank you.
