Does an inability to orgasm mean low sperm count?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

We have been married for six months, but we are not pregnant yet. I normally last from two to three minutes during the first round, but during the second round, it takes longer, and I feel difficulty in orgasm. Is this normal, or is this due to a lower sperm count issue?

Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I am very sorry about your medical condition. Do not worry. I am here to take care of you. Regarding your symptoms, I do not think both of you are yet to have infertility, as we can classify infertility if there is no child for more than a year. So, I believe it may be due to some hormonal changes or stress. Meanwhile, concerning your symptoms, yes, it may be due to low sperm count. So, I will ask you to do a seminal fluid analysis and revert to the results. For your spouse, let her do the hormone profile test and revert with the result. I suggest you take a tablet of Manix 500 mg orally every day for a month and your wife should take a tablet of Letrozole 5 mg orally every day for a month.

I hope this information helps you.

Revert in case of queries.

Regards.
