Papaya Leaf Extract

The papaya or pawpaw (Carica papaya) is a tropical fruit, which has been invariably associated with multiple medicinal properties. It is rich in antioxidant and free radical scavenging action, as well as being able to stabilize the RBC membrane. The extract of papaya leaves improves ALOX12 (arachidonate 12-lipoxygenase or platelet type lipoxygenase) by 15 times. This enzyme increases platelet formation via the raised number and differentiation of megakaryocytes.
