Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am experiencing severe pain in my pelvic area. I was reading about various medical conditions and was wondering if they could be related. A friend mentioned prostate cancer, and it scared me. Could it be a possibility? Additionally, does artificial intelligence help with diagnosing these issues? I am not sure if this is an oncology issue. I am also wondering if the pain might be caused by something else. Should I see a specialist, or can a general doctor handle this? How does treatment work for these types of issues?
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
Your pain is unlikely to be related to prostate cancer, especially given your age group where it is very rare. There is no need to worry about prostate cancer at this time. It appears to be more likely a local infection, such as cystitis. You should visit a urologist, who may recommend some basic tests, including a urine examination, and will conduct a clinical examination of the pain area before starting any treatment.
I hope this information helps you.
Best wishes.
