1. Take a warm sitz bath (lukewarm water, 10 to 15 minutes twice daily).

2. Avoid any sexual activity, masturbation, or heavy exercise until tenderness subsides.

3. Wear loose underwear to prevent friction.

If after 10 to 14 days there is no improvement, or if the swelling spreads, becomes red, or painful, it is best to:

• Repeat a clinical examination.

• Possibly check a urine routine and culture.

• Consider non-steroidal anti-inflammatory tablets (like Aceclofenac or Ibuprofen).

In rare cases, persistent symptoms may require a venous Doppler re-evaluation.

The condition is benign and self-limiting, and almost all cases resolve completely with conservative management. There is no long-term harm to sexual function or blood flow once the inflammation settles.
