Porokeratosis is a clonal disorder of keratinization causing one or more atrophic patches surrounded by coronoid lamella. It appears as raised brown bumps that may expand into scaly patches. Exposure to sunlight, genetic issues, and weakened immune system are some risk factors of porokeratosis. It is managed by applying 5-fluorouracil cream and Calcipotroil cream. The surgical options are cryotherapy, dermabrasion, and carbon dioxide laser ablation.
