Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Since about two years ago, I have always had this pain associated with a few specific teeth. Whenever I eat sweets, I almost immediately feel this shocking or stinging sensation in a few teeth located on different sides of my mouth. I assumed it was cavities. With that being said, I recently went to a dentist's office to schedule an appointment to do some fillings. The dentist checked my teeth and told which ones had decay. After the diagnosis, a few weeks later, I went to have them filled. But this time, a different dentist did my fillings. I do not think she was a dentist because the color of her scrubs was different and resembled that of a regular employee and I feel doubtful. Even after having dental fillings, I experience the same sensation. Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
I would like to tell you that you cannot distinguish someone's occupation from their scrubs. Let me explain. Junior dentists occasionally wear local scrubs like other staff members, although this does not define their abilities. Because they have diverse skills, even dentists have various scrubs. If your condition was not correctly detected or if some cavities are still inside your mouth, we can re-treat it to make things right. It may occur even if you do not practice good dental hygiene. Maintaining good oral hygiene is the first step. If you experience any discomfort, visit a dentist and request new X-rays of the affected tooth. Also, get your mouth cleaned once.
I hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards.
