Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I had a positive pregnancy test. My progesterone level was 3.6. The first hCG level was 23, and the second was 30. I have been experiencing bleeding or spotting for 15 days. What could be the reason?
Please help.
Hello,

Since you are still experiencing spotting, avoid sexual intercourse. This could be a threatened miscarriage, and it is important to follow the above precautions strictly. Please stay safe and hopeful. Repeat your hCG test after one week, and let me know the result so we can reassess and guide you further.
Kind regards.
