Answered by Dr. Uzma Arqam

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Postpartum depression can occur after a few months of birth even when the lady comes back to the previous routine and observe more work responsibility than previous, and initially unable to manage it. Lack of any helper, hectic job, physical body changes, unable to get time for herself or as a couple, lack of recreational activities or a nice break from busy cores, etc., are the causes of delayed postpartum depression.

Its main treatment is solving the cause, having a nice outing, proper sleep, diet, exercise time, getting help in household work, lightening of job, etc. Woman's self-care matters in all parameters.

I hope this helps.

Thank you, and take care.

Regards.
