1. Ideally, she might have decaf coffee. However, there are many women in South India who only drink coffee, and it is available in abundance. They usually have two cups a day. According to studies, the permitted level of caffeine in pregnant women is less than 200 mg per day, which amounts to approximately two cups of instant coffee. Caffeine is found not just in coffee but also in tea, chocolate, and most fizzy drinks.

2. The limitations are present due to the increased risk of miscarriage. It can also cause a decrease in the birth weight of babies. It may also delay labor. It may cause cardiac problems in the fetus, but more studies are needed to evaluate this.

3. Fresh fruit and mild exercise is beneficial. If a woman has a craving for coffee, a small cup of milky latte can be taken. Freshly squeezed fruit juices will help in giving a buzz and a boost of energy.
