Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My girlfriend and I engaged in dry humping. She was wearing cycling shorts with double-layered panties, while I was naked. Some pre-ejaculate (precum) got on her cycling shorts, specifically above her clitoral area.
Her last period was one month ago, and she has not experienced any signs of pregnancy. However, we are both worried about the possibility of pregnancy. Is there any risk in this situation? Please help.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
There is no significant chance of pregnancy in this situation. Sperm cannot travel through multiple layers of clothing, and pre-ejaculate (precum) alone is unlikely to cause pregnancy unless it directly enters the vagina.
Why pregnancy is unlikely:
She was wearing cycling shorts and double-layered panties, which act as a barrier preventing sperm from reaching the vagina.
Pre-ejaculate does not usually contain sperm unless there was a prior ejaculation and no urination afterward to clear any remaining sperm.
If she has a regular menstrual cycle, ovulation likely occurred between the 14th to 16th day of her period date, making pregnancy from this dry-humping encounter extremely unlikely.
What you can do:
Wait for her period – It can sometimes be delayed due to stress or hormonal changes.
If her period is more than a week late, she can take a home pregnancy test for reassurance.
I hope this helps.
Kindly revert so I can assist you further.
Thank you.
