Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I had unprotected sex with my partner last week. I followed the pull-out method. However, I feel that a little precum went inside while I reinserted. We did not take any Unwanted 72 pills then. Her periods are late now. She has back pain and associated symptoms of periods but has not got it yet. Can she take Unwanted 72 now?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com

We will pay close attention to your worries and address all of your questions with utmost care.

There is no point in taking Unwanted 72 (Levonorgestrel 1.5 mg) now, as you had intercourse a week before. The pill will not give any protection now. As you were in the safe period when you had sex, there are chances that you might not be pregnant. Wait for another four to five days. If you do not get your period by then, I suggest you do a urine pregnancy test and let me know the status. I can help you accordingly.

I hope this information will help you. Please revert in case of more queries.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

But what can be done now? What could be done in case she is not pregnant?

Thank you.

Hi,

Once more, thank you for allowing us to be of service to you.

We value the high level of confidence you have in us!

I can give you medicine for getting a period when it is confirmed that she is not pregnant. I suggest you not to take Unwanted 72 now, as it will not benefit you.

I hope this information will help you. Please revert in case of more queries.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
