Is pregnancy possible from precum without intercourse?
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I hugged my girlfriend and had a pre-ejaculation spot on my pants. I am not sure whether it touched her or not. We both were completely dressed and we did not have sexual intercourse. Her expected period was 20 days ago but periods came four to five days later. She had bleeding for the first two days and then stopped, then again came after two days. In total, she had periods for three days.
I have the following questions to ask:
-
Can a girl become pregnant without penetration and ejaculation inside the vagina?
-
Can pre-ejaculate pass through clothes and get into her vagina?
-
Can the three-day period rule out the chance of pregnancy?
She was having a lot of stress and anxiety last month. Now she is having low blood pressure levels also. A lot of things are given on the internet that is why we are really worried. Please provide your valuable suggestions.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern.
Your questions are answered below:
-
It is unlikely to get pregnant without penetration into the vagina.
-
No, that is not possible.
-
Yes, as she got her period, she is unlikely to be pregnant.
Irregular cycles can be due to stress, and hormonal effects on the endometrium, and hypotension can be due to anxiety and stress.
If in any doubt do serum beta hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), a blood test, to rule out pregnancy. The preventive measures include the usage of proper contraception.
I hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
The three days period can be considered as her menses, although from the evening it was in continuation, all three days she had normal bleeding.
Thank you.

Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Two days before she started to get yellow discharge and burning feeling .
- What may be the reason?
- Is it normal?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query. Yellow discharge is a sign of vaginal infection. I suggest she consult a gynecologist near by to get a vaginal swab to rule out vaginal infection.
Hope it helps.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thanks fo replying.
Her parents are very reserved type. She will not be able to visit a hospital. She says its thick dark yellow in colour with no foul smell. She was having burning sensation today morning. Can you suggest a remedy for it.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
If the discharge is not smelly and no burning sensation is there, then there is nothing to worry. It can be just a vaginal discharge without infection. Watch for two more days. Any new symptoms, we can start antibiotics.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
There is no yellow colour discharge as of now. It is a transparent discharge. Is that okay doctor?
She is taking lot of fluids. What may be the reason for infection to give yellow discharge?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Transparent discharges are normal. But if it Is curdy and associated with itching or foul smell, it means a fungal infection.
Hope it helps.
Thank you.
