Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I believe I am experiencing premature ejaculation because I ejaculate within one minute of starting sexual activity. This issue has persisted for the last month, causing me constant stress and decreasing my desire for intercourse. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understood your concern. Firstly, I would like to inform you that there are many reasons for premature ejaculation such as, stressful work, including night duties and twenty-four-hour jobs, can contribute to premature ejaculation. Conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and thyroid issues can also impact premature ejaculation. Keeping your blood sugar, blood pressure, and thyroid hormones under control can be helpful. If you are on long-term medication for hypertension or psychiatric issues, that could be a contributing factor. Other factors include frequent masturbation, prone masturbation, excessive porn consumption, receiving insufficient foreplay from a partner, or a lack of knowledge about foreplay and female masturbation. Engaging in an affair can lead to guilty feelings. Lack of exercise and obesity are also potential causes. To identify underlying issues, I suggest you check your FBS (fasting blood sugar) and PPBS (post-prandial blood sugar) to rule out diabetes, monitor your blood pressure, and evaluate your free T3 (triiodothyronine), T4 (thyroxine), TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) levels to rule out thyroid problems. You can use also tablet Dapoxetine 30 mg as a temporary solution. To Increase the foreplay duration during intercourse women should receive 15 to 20 minutes of foreplay and men should receive ten to fifteen minutes of foreplay for a good blood supply to the penis for a long and hard erection. Foreplay should be relaxed manner. Your partner should learn to give foreplay in a way you do not ejaculate and enjoy. You can also try relaxing music. Delaying condoms can help you. Sex is not a race duration does not mean your partner is happy. Love your partner, learn about female masturbation, and give your partner orgasm or climax. I hope this has helped you. Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.

Thank you.
