Can fumigation help get rid of pests?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

As a concerned homeowner, I have been grappling with what appears to be a persistent pest control issue for quite some time now. Despite trying various methods, I have been unable to eliminate these pests from my home. Upon careful observation, it seems these pests may be dust mites, as they can travel through walls and under flooring. What is even more alarming is that I have noticed a brief beeping noise followed by a click whenever they approach me. These pests have even infested my mattress and box spring, and I am now experiencing sensations of them entering my body.

I am uncertain whether they are some type of microorganism or a different kind of pest, but I am in desperate need of your assistance. I must also mention that I observed them entering my skin after using a UV-C (ultraviolet-C) germicidal, which leads me to believe that they are using this to escape danger. I would greatly appreciate any advice or assistance you can provide to help me resolve this issue. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I am very sorry to hear about your medical condition. Do not worry; I am here to take care of you.

I believe the best way to eliminate these pests is to fumigate your entire property; both indoors and outdoors. This approach will not only help you get rid of them but also prevent them from causing any health issues. Additionally, you can use insecticide-treated nets to protect your skin from these bugs. I hope this suggestion is helpful.

Please schedule another appointment for a follow-up via chat, phone, or video consultation.

Thank you for using icliniq, and have a nice day.
