Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am a 29-year-old young guy struggling with premature ejaculation. Sometimes I ejaculate before penetrating.
What is wrong with me, and why is that happening?
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have read your history and can understand your concern.
Premature ejaculation (PE) is very common. Considering that you often ejaculate before penetration and that this phenomenon is present since the beginning, you likely suffer from lifelong premature ejaculation and not from situational type, which is recent in origin.
With minimal stimulation or even before penetration, such factors as a low ejaculatory threshold, high sexual arousal, anxiety regarding sexual performance, and acquired patterns of sexual response might play a role.
It does not mean that there is anything fundamentally wrong with you. Biological and psychological factors both have their share, and quite a number of people with lifelong PE complain of the same problem. Besides, performance anxiety makes the problem worse through increased sexual arousal and less control of ejaculation.
Tab Duraplast (Dapoxetine) 30 mg (milligram) administered 1 hour prior to sexual intercourse might be useful in managing your problem; however, the individualization of therapy is required considering your symptoms and general state.
In order to get a better idea of your situation, I would like to ask you if you experience rapid ejaculation during masturbation and how much time usually elapses between stimulation and ejaculation.
I hope it helped with the query.
Please let me know if you have any more questions on your mind.
Thank you.
