A quadruple Screen is a prenatal test taken in the second trimester that detects the level of Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), Estriol, Inhibin A in the blood of pregnant women. It can be taken up to the 22nd week but is usually taken in the 15th to 18th week. Down syndrome (trisomy 21), Trisomy 18, Spina bifida, Abdominal wall defects are evaluated in this test.
