Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. I have been trying to get pregnant since last year. My periods are regular but they come earlier than the actual date. I am taking Predmet 8 mg for pain. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to ilciniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in the joints and other parts of the body. Regarding your symptoms, I believe you have developed infertility, which is a condition where you are unable to get pregnant with a co-existing rheumatoid arthritis. I do not think rheumatoid arthritis is the cause of the lack of pregnancy. I believe your lack of conception is due to a hormone imbalance. Please do a hormone profile test and reply to me with the result.

I would suggest you take the following till then:

One tablet of Letrozole 5 mg orally every day for one month.

Reply to me if you have more concerns or questions by scheduling a direct appointment or follow-up via chat, phone, or video consultation.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.
