Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had a car accident a week ago, and my neck was injured and I think it is from the seat belt; I am not sure, but after a week, today I just noticed that my neck is bruised in blue. What can it be?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

I read your query and understand your concern. Do not worry I am here to take care of you. Regarding your symptoms, you have the following diagnosis: cervical ecchymosis. Do a cervical CT (computed tomography) scan and please take the following:

1. Tablet Acetaminophen (Paracetamol) 500 mg once a day orally.

2. Capsule. Piroxicam (hard gelatin capsules) 40 mg every day.

3. Tablet. Artemether (Lumefantrine)100 mg once a day orally.

4. Capsule Co-Amoxiclav (Amoxycillin and Clavulanic acid) 625 mg once a day orally.

5. Apply Neurogesic (Diclofenac and Paracetamol) cream two times a day.

If your symptoms persist, schedule another appointment for follow-up via chat, phone, or video consultation with the laboratory report. I hope I have cleared all your doubts.

Thank you.
