Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been married for one year and four months now but have not had sex till date. My husband does not have the urge to have intercourse. We had sex twice before marriage. I asked him about this and he said that he does not get that feeling at all. He never allows me to touch his penis. However, he touches my breast all the time when he is with me. Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
We will pay close attention to your worries and address all your questions with utmost care.
If in one and a half years he does not engage in sexual intercourse, then this is a cause for concern. Talk to him and try to find out if he has any stress or other issues that have resulted in his loss of interest in sex. He might be stressed or might have some conflict that is causing a lack of interest in sex.
Get his serum testosterone and prolactin levels checked to rule out any hormonal causes of reduced libido. If the levels are normal, then the most likely cause of his reduced libido is psychological and this should be evaluated properly by a psychiatrist.
I hope your query got resolved.
Thank you.
