This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

The foreskin of my penis can be fully stretched back, but the bottom cannot stretch back fully due to the small frenulum. Will this affect my sexual life in the future? Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understood your concern. I do not think you have any reason to worry. Problems arise when the skin does not move at all, if the movement of the skin is painful, or if, once withdrawn, it does not easily return to its original position. From what you described, it sounds fully normal. The frenulum will not be a problem. During intercourse, the discharge from your penis and her vagina will lubricate the penis, and you should have no problems. So, you can be carefree if the foreskin is easily retractable and returns without any problem. If you are still unsatisfied or want to prolong your sexual experience, then you may consider circumcision or removal of the skin. The glans penis is the sensitive part of the penis that contributes to the pleasure of intercourse. With the foreskin, this area will be sensitive, and your duration of intercourse might be shorter. If this skin is removed, the glans will become less sensitive to touch, and your duration of sexual pleasure may be longer. I hope this has helped you. Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.

Thank you.
