Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have a problem that has bothered me almost my entire adult life. I am 23 years old and my flaccid penis, most of the time is less than three centimeters long. If I adjust it or wiggle it some, it will come out and be about nine centimeters. But then, it will just retract back to about three centimeters. My erect length is fine. It almost gets to 12 centimeters, but the flaccid size bothers me because it is uncomfortable for one, I am also scared that that size is extremely small for a grown man. I would be extremely embarrassed if I ever had to be naked in front of anyone including a nurse or doctor. This is why I am trying an online consultation instead of visiting a doctor in person.
I would like to know if there is a way to increase my flaccid size. Kindly suggest.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
The size of the penis is never measured in a flaccid state. It is always measured in terms of erect posture. Furthermore, the length of the flaccid state can be affected by temperature; in cold weather, it will shrink more. And I saw the picture (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity) and the size of the penis seems normal, as with many adults I examined. There is no need to be embarrassed at all and no treatment is required. If you have any concerns, please let me know. I hope you find this helpful.
Thank you.
