Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have rashes on my palms with dry skin. It happens when body temperature is high and when using dishwash and clothing detergent. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

I read your query and understand your concern. It appears to be (attachment removed to protect patient’s identity) dyshidrotic eczema (hand eczema) due to the chronic use of detergents or harsh soaps. Apply Liquid paraffin lotion in the daytime for ten days. Moisturize skin frequently with Venusia Max cream three to four times daily for 10 days. Use hand gloves while washing utensils or clothes.

1. What is your occupation?

2. Do you have itching?

3. Do you experience a burning sensation or painful fissures at present?

4. Since when did it appear as a widespread or localized rash on the hand?

It appears to be hand fissures due to autoimmune causes. Apply Fucibet (Fusidic acid and Betamethasone) cream twice daily for seven days. Do reply so that I can guide you better.

I hope I have cleared your doubts.

Thank you.
