Does topical emollients moisturizer helps relieve from soy allergy?
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
It is about a soy allergy that I have. I was only on the food level, but now, I also react to my facial skin. After applying my skincare, I noticed an inflammation or reaction. Discovered that the ingredients were taken from soy or that soy was in the product directly. Now, I need to know if the Cerave (topical emollient) moisturizer contains soy or not to avoid any reaction, because it took me a long time to calm the inflammation.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
Relax and make yourself stress-free. It appears to be irritant contact dermatitis. Reduce exposure to irritants. Adopt a good skin care routine. Wash face with cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol cleanser twice daily for one month. Apply physiogel hypoallergenic cream twice daily for one month. Attach a clinical picture to assess, so can guide you further.
I hope this helps.
Kindly follow up if you have more concerns.
Thank you.
