Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been applying Cernos gel for the last six weeks as per your advice. The benefits include improved memory, better heart condition with no hypertension, decreased obesity, and improvement in sexual symptoms. The overall improvement is about 15%.
Please provide your insight.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understood your concern.
However, can you please send me the brief details of the last conversation? It is good that there is a response. You may consider Cernos injection (contains testosterone) as well. Also, since six weeks are over, please get a complete blood count (CBC) and liver function test (LFT) done. For erectile dysfunction, you can continue with Tadalafil (phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors) 10mg once daily or on an as-needed basis (at least two hours before intercourse).
I hope this has helped you.
Kindly follow up with if you have more doubts.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thanks for the reply.
You had prescribed me Cernos gel once daily based on the free testosterone report. I had taken CBC (complete blood count), LFT (liver function test), PSA (prostate-specific antigen) before starting the treatment. Please advise, can Cernos injections be self-administered or should they be given under medical supervision? If required, can I increase the dose of gel from one to two packets? I want to continue with the treatment for at least three months or more to see good results.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understood your concern.
Yes, you can self-administer the gel, but the Cernos injection needs to be taken under a doctor’s supervision. The dose for Cernos injection is one now, followed by a second dose after six weeks, and then once every 12 weeks intramuscularly. Let us wait for six more weeks to see the results. If your hemoglobin increases, your LFT (liver function test) changes, or you experience aggressive behavior, we may have to reduce the dose or temporarily stop treatment.
I hope this has helped you.
Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.
Thank you.

Hello doctor,
Thanks for the reply.
The above treatment looks good. I know you stay busy with surgeries. Do you administer the injection treatment at your hospital? If possible, I can start it this week or next week.
Please suggest a time that works best for you.
Thank you.
