Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Is a caffeine vape that contains no nicotine safe? All these ingredients are food-grade quality, and none are known to cause harm to the lungs when inhaled. I used to consume at least 1000 mg of caffeine daily but am trying to cut back to 600 mg as I experienced a severe caffeine overdose episode. Ingesting caffeine has upset my stomach recently, and I am experiencing withdrawal symptoms from the drastic decrease in consumption. I have been told to decrease my intake slowly. I am considering using a caffeine vaporizer to gradually reduce my caffeine intake without upsetting my stomach. Still, there is a lot of conflicting information regarding this safety — if I buy one that contains the pure, edible ingredients mentioned above. Is it safe for my lungs?

Thanks.

Hello,

Welcome to iclinq.com.

I understand your concern.

It is better to stop gradually, whatever form you are using. If you change the form, then it could create other problems. Also, if you use the same condition, you may stop faster as you know the desired effect. There is no problem with that particular form. In the long term, any form of inhalation creates lung problems. And now, if you are withdrawing, then do not worry.

I hope that this information will help.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
