Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had unprotected sex last month, and I had no issues after that till last year. So, the onset was sudden. I had thick curdy white vaginal discharge with a lot of itching problems which was unbearable and painful during urinating, so I consulted my gynecologist, and she gave me some medications. I took them, and then I was temporarily fine. After that, a few months ago, again, I faced problems like vaginal discharge with a lot of itching, and to date, it is the same issue. I am experiencing a lot of body aches, some rashes around my fingers, and a headache. I have a grey color thick vaginal discharge with itching problems, body pain, and headache. Kindly suggest.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Regarding your symptoms, I believe you have developed a pelvic inflammatory disease caused by bacteria, fungi, or viruses. I suggest you do a high vaginal and endo cervical swab test and reply to me with the reports and kindly take the following:

  1. Tablet Cetirizine 25 mg once daily.
  2. Tablet Metronidazole 400 mg thrice a day.
  3. Capsule Co-Amoxiclav (Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid) 625 mg twice a day.
  4. Tablet Ketoconazole 200 mg once daily.
  5. Use Gyno-Daktarin (Miconazole) vaginal insertion twice daily.
  6. I hope this helps you. If your symptoms persist, schedule another appointment for follow-up.

    Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
