Medical Conditions - Dandruff

Dry and flaky skin in the scalp is called dandruff. It makes the scalp itchy, and oily-looking flakes of dead skin can be seen on the hair, neck, and shoulder. It is not a serious condition and can be controlled by using shampoos that contain zinc pyrithione, tar, selenium sulfide, or Ketoconazole.
