Medical Conditions - Dilated Pupil

Dilated pupils are otherwise called mydriasis. In this condition, pupils are larger than the normal size. It is caused due to injury, psychological factors, and certain medications. The dilated pupils are unequal in size, and it can occur as a sign of a serious medical condition affecting the brain. It is treated using a low dose of Pilocarpine drops, and surgery is done in severe cases.
