Medical Conditions - Necrosis

Necrosis is a condition of having the death of body tissue. It usually occurs due to reduced blood and oxygen supply to the tissues. The common triggers are injury, chemicals, trauma, radiation, and other chronic conditions that affect blood flow. When a large number of tissues die with reduced blood supply, this condition is known as gangrene.
