What causes fever after taking medicines for tooth pain?

I am a 33-year-old male, Hispanic, non-smoker, exercise regularly. No significant health issues. I am 1.76 m and 68 kg. For three days, I had really bad pain on a wisdom tooth (lower right) that has erupted years ago but never really gave any problems. But this was bad, really bad. I was waking up with fever and heartbeat rate of 90 to 95 whereas I am usually 55 to 60.
I went to the dentist, he cleaned the area, took an X-ray and gave me Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium tablets (875 mg and 125 mg, respectively) twice a day for five days plus Paracetamol or Ibuprofen for the pain. I think he referred to this as pericoronitis. This is my fourth day of treatment and the area is a lot less swollen and tooth pain has pretty much gone. However, the part that has me worried is that I am still waking up with fever and a very fast heartbeat plus throbbing headaches. Is this normal?

Should I wear retainers for 12 hours daily post-Invisalign?

I finished my Invisalign treatment and received retainers that look like Invisalign trays. But it is thicker. I am wearing them for the second day. I am wearing it for about 12 hours a day. But I am noticing pain on my teeth now, and they are tight on my teeth. Should I have to wear them for 12 hours a day?

Which crown is best for endodontically treated molar ?
Hello doctor,
I am 24 years old. What type of crown is recommended for an endodontically treated upper molar (tooth #26), solid zirconia or eMax? I am worried about the abrasive effects Zirconia might have on the opposing dentition. Will a zirconia crown cause secondary caries under the crown as a result of abrasion against opposing teeth? I also understand it may be difficult to detect decay or treat decay under zirconia crowns, is that so? If so, would eMax or any other all-ceramic crown be a better choice for my endodontically treated molar? I am not a grinder or clencher, and this would be my first crown. I would greatly appreciate all insights and recommendations.
