Dr. Sidharth Sonthalia won a gold medal for standing first in the MBBS second professional examination held by the University of Delhi. He has won the K.Sridharan Award for standing first in anatomy in the MBBS first professional examination (with distinction) and pharmacology in MBBS second professional examination (with distinction). He owns a Ratan Mani Sharma Award for standing first in the MBBS second professional examination held by the University of Delhi. The pathology faculty has awarded him Golden Jubilee Gold Medal for standing first in pathology in MBBS second professional examination and Pallabh Chaudhari Award for standing first in microbiology in MBBS second professional examination (with distinction). He has merit certificates for standing second in the MBBS final examination, first in pediatrics, and second in surgery. He was awarded the Major Ashwani Kumar Kanva V.S.M. Award for being the best intern in pediatrics. The doctor is also given the Young Dermatologist Forum Award for his best paper presentation at DERMACON, Bangalore. Dr.Sidharth received the E.A.D.V. Imrich-Sarkany Award from E.A.D.V. to attend the Annual E.A.D.V. meeting in Lisbon, Portugal. He is a Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences and presented a paper at the World Congress of Dermatology held in South Korea in 2011. He received an award and a scholarship from the International Society of Dermatology on Dermatosurgery and Cosmetology in 2012.
