My HbA1c was 7.5 last month. Can I keep on Gemer 1 tablets?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. With an HbA1C level above 7, you have a confirmatory diagnosis of diabetes mellitus. Therefore, you should receive full diabetic management, including diet modification, regular exercise, and medication. I recommend taking the tablet Gemer 1 mg (Glimepiride) lifelong, along with another medication called Metformin 250 mg twice daily after meals. This combination will help you achieve good diabetes control and reduce the risk of complications associated with the disease.

What causes left-sided abdominal pain when sitting?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. There could be many reasons for the problems you are stating. So to know exactly what is the cause of pain many more questions need to be asked. I would like to know exactly where on the left side does the pain occurs? Is it below the ribs or lower than that? Do you have any change in taste or acidity? Does the pain also go to the back? What is the color of your urine? Any other problems like loose motion or vomit? Do you have a fever? These questions will help me come near to the diagnosis and then with relevant tests, we could come to a confirmed diagnosis. As far as the medication that are prescribed to you I would like to say that both of them are strong pain killer which are given for problems like kidney stones, but they will not cure the problem.

May I know the reason for slurred speech in a paralyzed person?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. Paralyzed patients have a tendency to get stroke when they have already had it. This could be a recurrence of stroke and the patient should be taken to a hospital as a CT scan without contrast needs to be done to know if he has again developed a stroke. If he has had a stroke again, then the type of stroke also will be identified by the CT scan. The patient will also be evaluated for the risk factors of stroke like high blood pressure and have to be managed accordingly.
