Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been experiencing mild but somewhat sharp pain in my upper right abdomen, particularly when I bend or hunch over. The pain also occurs when I touch the area but goes away when I straighten up or stop applying pressure. I am concerned about potential gallbladder or liver issues, but I do not have any other symptoms. I also do not recall engaging in any activity that could have caused a muscle strain or injury in that area.
Could this be related to an internal issue, or is it more likely to be musculoskeletal? Should I consider any tests or specific precautions?
Kindly advise.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
Based on your symptoms, your pain may be related to a condition affecting the gallbladder, liver, or pancreas, as these organs are located in the area of discomfort. To get a definitive diagnosis, I recommend you undergo an ultrasound. In the meantime, you may take the following medications:
Co-Amoxiclav 625 milligram – Take two tablets PO twice daily for one week.
Metronidazole 400 milligram – Take two tablets PO three times daily for one week.
Hyoscine butyl bromide 10 milligram – Take one tablet PO twice daily for one week.
I hope this information helps. For further queries, you can consult me at iCliniq.
Thank you.
