Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I do not remember the last period date. It may be at the start of last month. I am approximately one month delayed. The prega news test is positive, and I want to abort. Please help.

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

According to your last menstruation date, you are around eight weeks pregnant. You can terminate your pregnancy by two methods, either by using medications or by a minor procedure called dilation and evacuation. Have you done your ultrasound scan?

I hope the information will work.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for the reply.

I have not got my ultrasound done. I want to do it by medication.

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

You can safely terminate your pregnancy with the help of medicines, but first, you should do an ultrasound scan to rule out any ectopic pregnancy. Without an ultrasound, I would not suggest you go for termination. Though there are fewer chances of having an ectopic pregnancy, we cannot ignore that because if it is an ectopic pregnancy, it has life-threatening complications. For your safety, kindly do the ultrasound scan.

I hope this information will work.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
