Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am 19 years old, my skin type is dry in winter and combination in summer. But all the time I suffer from tiny bumps on my forehead, under eyes, and cheeks. I also have a little bit of an acne problem. I follow a simple routine. I clear my face with a simple face twice a day. As a moisturizer I use Vaseline.
Can you please help me to get rid of my acne?
Hello,
Welcome to iCliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
As you are 19 years old, this could be hormonal acne. Kindly share a picture of the rashes on your forehead and cheeks for a clear understanding of your problem. I am recommending face wash for use. Kindly start using it. I will be able to advise further treatment only after seeing the rashes or bumps. Use one percent salicylic acid face wash twice daily for two weeks (this is being prescribed keeping in mind that you do not have any allergies to any medicine). It is very important to use sunscreen after the use of salicylic acid face wash. Kindly do not skip. Use sunscreen gel spf 50, UVA (ultraviolet A), and UVB (ultraviolet B) for local application (to be applied every three hours till evening 4 PM) on the face and neck (or any sun-exposed areas).
I hope this helps.
Let me know if you have any other concerns.
Thank you.
