Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Three months ago, I went to the bathroom and suddenly experienced something sharp, like a razor piercing my anus, resulting in soreness and burning. The next day, I saw some drops of blood. Since then, I have been on bed rest, having soft meals twice daily and taking Cremaffin syrup twice daily. But my bowel movements have increased, and I go five times daily. Now I feel very weak walking, sweating a lot, and need to sit. I have developed shortness of breath and have lost some weight. I am not taking any medicine. What could be my problem? Please help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have read the query, and I can understand your concern.
This is called an anal fissure. I suggest the following:
You need to drink plenty of fluids - up to three liters per day.
You need to have lots of green leafy vegetables and a high-fiber diet.
Take the tablet Voveran 75 mg twice a day.
Apply lox cream (Lidocaine) 2 percent three times a day.
Sit in warm water three times a day for about fifteen days.
Take Lactulose syrup three tablespoons at night for fifteen days.
Consult a specialist doctor, talk to them, and then take the medication—follow-up after fifteen days.
I hope this will help you.
Thank you.
