Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had allergy symptoms for three weeks, like a runny nose, sneezing, and post-nasal drip. I have had allergies and sinus issues in the past. What is the best over-the-counter allergy medication? Currently, I am taking Lorsartan.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query. You are suffering from allergic rhinitis. The best over-the-counter medicines that will help you fight these symptoms are:

Consult your specialist doctor, talk to them, and take medications with their consent.

  1. Take a tablet of Bilast M (Bilastin and Montelukast) at night for five days.
  2. Tablet Sinarest (Chlorpheniramine, Paracetamol, and Phenylephrine) twice daily for five days.
  3. Two puffs of Fluticasone Furoate nasal sprays twice daily for permanent resolution.

Take these medicines, and you will feel much better. Also, steam inhalation with avoiding dust exposure will help you equally.

Hope this helps.

Kindly revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.
