Hello doctor,

Thank you for the response. I am on Apo-propafenone 150 mg prn and Aspirin 75 mg daily.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You should continue the above medications, and also, take lipid-controlling medications. Repeat echo and doppler after three months. I hope I cleared all your doubts. Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thanks for your advice. I will inform your recommendations to my husband and he can consult with his cardiologist. Does he require any surgical intervention?

Answered by Dr. Rajesh Gulati

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

If the aneurysm is large, surgery can be done. Many times carotid stenting is done. It is a relatively very safe procedure. You should discuss with your cardiologist for stenting option. I hope I have cleared all your doubts. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
