Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I am really sorry you are dealing with this. Severe bad breath along with a toothache can be very distressing, and it is understandable that it is affecting your confidence. When breath smells very strong and there is dental pain, the most common cause is a dental infection, such as tooth decay, an abscess, or advanced gum disease. Food and bacteria trapped in a decayed tooth or under inflamed gums produce foul-smelling sulfur compounds, which is why the odor can be intense and persistent despite brushing.

At this stage, the most important step is to see a dentist as soon as possible. A toothache with bad breath usually does not resolve on its own and may worsen if treatment is delayed. The dentist will examine your teeth and gums and may take an X-ray to check for cavities, abscesses, or infections. Treatment could involve professional cleaning, a filling, root canal treatment, drainage of an abscess, or tooth extraction, depending on the cause.

In the meantime, maintain very careful oral hygiene. Brush your teeth gently twice daily, including the gum line, and clean your tongue daily, as bacteria on the tongue are a major source of bad breath. Floss once a day to remove trapped food. Rinsing with warm salt water two to three times daily can help reduce bacteria and soothe inflamed gums. Drink plenty of water to keep your mouth moist, as a dry mouth worsens bad breath. Avoid smoking, alcohol, and strong-smelling foods until you receive treatment.

Meanwhile, take Tablet Denzen DS (Trypsin + Chymotrypsin) twice daily for three to five days to help manage tooth inflammation, and use mouthwash twice daily to reduce bad breath.

I hope this has helped you.

Please feel free to reach out to me again for further queries.

Thank you.
