Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have two questions. I have had mild sinus and allergy symptoms for years that I can manage but I did find this great idea about raw honey, where it includes bee pollen; which somehow has many benefits also for sinus and allergies. What I want to know is this; is a teaspoon of raw honey healthy to eat each day; and is it safe ? Is one teaspoon too much? Another thing is that my parents bought this small indoor infrared sauna; which also has many benefits for health. But I have always heard that infrared is dangerous for eyes. Does this mean I need protection glasses when I use this sauna?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

  1. I have reviewed your health query and want to add that you can safely take one teaspoonful of honey that is 5 mL per day. There is no harm in taking it. Honey is beneficial in many ways and helps cure a lot of diseases.
  2. Yes, infrared can be harmful to your eyes. You definitely need to wear protection glasses before using that sauna.

Hope this helps. Please feel free to consult me back anytime for any kind of health issues. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
