Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 13 weeks pregnant and have been using a small amount of topical gel ocassionally in a few troubled areas. I have read that topical creams can cause birth defects, and now I am scared. Should I be concerned for my baby? Please help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read the query, and I can understand your concern.

Please do not worry. You should consult a gynecologist and get your ultrasonography test done to rule out birth defects. If everything is fine, do not worry, and continue your pregnancy journey.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
