Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a teenage girl, not on any medication. After picking on the blackhead on the nose, the area around it has turned red and formed a scab. It is yellow, and I am just scared it will worsen. Please help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read the query, and I can understand your concern.

It will not get worse, so do not worry. It will heal in two or three days, so do not touch it. Never pick blackheads, but I suggest you apply ointment Soframycin (Framycetin) twice a day for five days, and it will disappear. Consult a specialist doctor, talk to them, and then take the medication.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
