Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a heart patient currently taking Clopidogrel and Aspirin. I have multiple blockages in my legs. Is it possible for a clot to form in my legs and travel to my heart, potentially causing a heart attack, when I soak my legs in hot water to relieve my restless leg syndrome? Similarly, could multiple clots in my heart be the cause of the restless leg syndrome that only affects my right leg?
Please advise.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I assume that you have blockages in your arteries. If the blockages are in the arteries, they will not migrate to the heart. Instead, they may cause pain while walking, and if severe, they could lead to gangrene. However, if the blockages are in the veins, they can migrate to the heart and lungs. Since you have multiple clots, it's possible that there could be some nerve damage causing your symptoms. I suggest taking a vitamin B complex supplement and Pregabalin.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
