Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

According to your statement, someone has donated blood while suffering from diarrhea. It is not wise to donate blood while suffering from diarrhea. But if you feel well without having the symptoms of diarrhea, then you can only donate blood. During diarrhea, you lose water with salt. Again,

during donating blood, you also lose fluids from the body and become dehydrated. it would be wise to donate blood after 1-4 weeks of diarrhea. As your know, if someone has already donated blood during diarrhea, then he or she should take plenty of fluids, oral rehydration salt or solution after excluding hypertension or high blood pressure, and complete bed rest. If it is assumed that the diarrhea has resulted from infections, then antibiotics may be needed for seven days. Taking plenty of fluids or liquids, oral rehydration salt or solution, and complete bed rest will be his or her present treatment protocol.

Hope I have answered your questions

Thank you.
